Double Duty

I had two fancy fabric Cinderellas to be done for yesterday and I was a little bit nervous if I would get them done. I haven't attempted 2 dresses in one week in a long time but with my kids in school I figured it could happen, and it did, but just barely!

I had several moments of life interrupt me but the dresses look great, they aren't really so silver in person. I tried a new technique on the "poofs" and I think they stand out from the skirt and hold their shape better. Next time I think I will make them a little bit longer, what do you think?

Creating Smiles with Cinderella

I have a long list of costumes to work on and I'm doing my best to get to all of them as quickly as I can. This dress was actually scheduled in the middle of the list but due to a lack of measurements from one client, she's having medical problems :( and waiting for ordered fabric to come in, this dress was completed first. It's headed to Texas to help children in the hospital smile. It also makes me smile knowing that my work is going to cheer up sick kids. Thanks for letting me help!

Back to Work!

The summer is coming to a close, the show I worked on was complete a week ago and all 3 of my girls are headed to school full time in 9 days!

I will be emailing clients who were interested in orders at the beginning of the summer in the next week and I'm excited to get back to work.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding, my kids appreciated me taking a break.
